On June 25–28, the Russian International Energy Forum was held in St. Petersburg. The forum is an annual event for representatives of the fuel and energy industry.
Every year, PLC Technology takes part in both the business program of the forum and in the Power and Electrical Engineering Exhibition as part of the forum.
PLC Technology's stand was visited by Andrey S. Bondarchuk, Chairman of the Committee of Energy and Engineering Support, Igor P. Kirsanov, Director General of RESTEC Exhibitions, and Sergey G. Voronkov, Director General of EF-International LLC.
This year, PLC Technology presented solutions for a digital substation, digital distribution network, as well as an automated system for dispatcher control, fiber-optic TOPAZ OCTU shield current monitoring system, and TOPAZ digital platform for energy accounting.
This year's congress program was dedicated to a number of pressing issues, such as: Results of Smart Network implementation. Our speaker delivered a report called Comprehensive Solutions for Digital Substations, which focused on the development of architectural solutions for digital substations with maximum technical and economic performance, allowing full-scale application of digital substation technologies, and using a digital process bus based on IEC 61850-9-2 standard in 6–220 kV substations.
