PLC Technology participated in the International Conference and Exhibition “Relay Protection & Automation for Electric Power Systems” that took place September 29-October 1 in Moscow.  The exhibition is held every two years and gathers professionals from all over the world.

PLC Technology has presented its latest technologies to Russian government representatives and to top management of leading energy companies: Mr. Evgeniy Grabchak, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation; Mr. Andrey Mayorov, First Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of Russian Grids PJSC; Mr. Sergey Pavlushko, First Deputy Chairman of “System Operator of the United Energy System JSC”; and Mr. Sergey Kondratyev, Chief Engineer at RusHydro PJSC.

In particular interest of high-ranking guests were solutions for relay protection and automation:

• model of digital substation 6–10 kV,
• self-contained emergency event recorder TOPAZ EER
• TOPAZ technical solutions in the field of information security,
• solutions for accounting and quality control of electricity.

The company's representatives participated in the Conference as speakers delivering presentations on the topics "Implementation of Information Security in Power Systems Using Embedded Solutions" and "Optimized Digital Substation Architecture: Experience in Implementing Digital Protection and Control Systems in Distribution Grids". The presentations kept audience interested, many questions useful for further research were raised.
