TOPAZ OCTU Current Control System

The TOPAZ OCTU Current Control System is designed for continuous monitoring of alternating current in conductors, checking the integrity of the measurement path and generating alert signals in a timely manner when a threshold electric current value is exceeded, or in the event of measurement path failure, as well as for measuring the frequency and phase shift of the currents.
Benefits of the current monitoring system:
•    Compact size: the device can fit into existing racks
•    Powerful laser: the sensors can be located in cable line shield cross connection manholes at a distance of up to 5 km from the modules
•    Passive sensors: no power supply required
•    Suitable for digital substations.
